Passenger car and light truck (rubber snap-in)

The TR series is the global standard for passenger cars. All four share the same snap-in construction and brass 9002# core with VC8 cap; the only differences are rim hole and effective length:

Tube vs tubeless - the question behind half of these searches

A large share of sizing questions come down to one thing: does the wheel carry a tube? On a tubeless wheel, the valve itself mounts in the rim hole and seals it - that is the TR / PVR / V3 valve you are choosing above. On a tube-type wheel, the valve is vulcanised into the tube, and the rim only needs a clearance hole for it to pass through. Most modern road wheels are tubeless; some agricultural, motorcycle and trailer wheels still run tubes. If you are unsure, check whether the rim has a machined valve hole with a sealing surface - that means tubeless.

How to order the right valve, every time

Rim hole diameter first - measure the hole, not the old valve.
Effective length second - the valve must clear the rim drop centre and leave room for the pump chuck.
Pressure rating third - passenger valves around 65 PSI; trucks and agricultural vehicles need the brass clamp-in families.
Bend angle fourth - 45° / 90° motorcycle bends, 27° or 90° truck bends.
